Our fresh-cut, ready-to-eat vegetables are processed in a state of the art, sanitary, refrigerated facility.
The standards maintained in our facility are in consultation with experts in the field.
Food Safety
Our facility adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices and the principles of our
Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point program to ensure the proper handling of all consumer products.
Finished product passes through a metal detector to insure no contamination from foreign materials.
Product samples are routinely tested by our on-site Food Scientist to assure you are receiving only the finest
quality products.
Our Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points system in place includes the following prerequisite programs
to support HACCP.
- Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure that products
are handled properly in order to guarantee high quality to the consumer.
- Documented sanitation program for production areas,
coolers and docks to retard the growth of sickness causing microorganisms.
- Pest control services provided by a reputable
outside company to reduce any risk of contaminants entering the processing facility.
- Training program includes HACCP and GMP training
for all new hires, and periodic food safety training for all existing employees.
- Product trace back programto allow product tracking back to the shipment of raw product. Packages are tracked by lot code and can be
retrieved if necessary.
